In our various trips to restaurants lately, Nolan has taken a liking to the crayons they leave at the tables for kids. We decided it was time to let him try it out at home.
I have found a great love for Crayola's new twistables series, being the sucker for school supplies that I am. . . so I bought some for Nolan. I figured, this way, he couldn't immediately break the tips off, and I didn't have to worry about wrappers.
Initially, I just took a few out to let him try. And he liked it. . .
But not as much as he liked taking them out of the package himself.
He was fascinated!
He even drew a bit. . . although he tried to draw with the wrong end of the crayon more often than not. . .
baby steps, right?

Definitely baby steps! I never thought of putting Noah in his highchair to color. DUH! :) Cute pics!
Noah was coloring today, too!! Funny! And he ALSO tends towards the wrong end. Oops!
Awesome. I love the school supplies. Have you seen the new glue roller from Crayola? I am loving it. And teh glow in the dark writer...it is a sickness. I will stop now.
Max would rather eat the crayon than draw with them. He does love the triangular markers, though. We've gotten quite a few 'dotted' masterpieces out of those! :)
Yeah, that's definately the issue with the twistables. With Karin, we could spend almost ALL of sacrament meeting doing the signs for the colors with her twistables!! (Luckily, I had Jill to teach me all the signs of the colors.)
