As a substitute for anything resembling meaningful posting at the moment, I have more pictures to offer.
All dressed up in his outfit to come home from the hospital on Monday, he looks thrilled to have his picture taken. . .
At this age there's no getting his attention, so I was happy to get shots this good.
Nolan has proven to be an extremely mellow kid, seldom crying, even in situations where you would certainly expect it. When grandma and I gave him his first bath, he clung to my arms for dear life, and certainly looked freaked out, but didn't cry a bit. Same for the one we gave him this morning. I'm hoping it's a trend that continues as he gets older.

Oh how I miss the infant stage.
He's so teeny!
what a handsome little guy. Thanks for sharing pictures. I just want to hold him. And I certainly hope for you that his mellowness is a personality trait. If he acts like that during a bath, I'd consider it a good sign. Oliver has hated his baths for the entire 25 months he has lived on this earth. ;)
Oh, Nolan...could he be the cutest thing EVER?! I think he just might be....holy moly, I love me some Hesses!
He is so cute and it's fun to have them so little especially if they don't cry. Can't say the same thing for my little guy.
