GO see it! Go see it. Go see it.
GO SEE IT!!
It's amazing. It's brilliant. (It's a tiny bit heavy handed with the environmental/health stuff, but I probably only felt that way because it was so true. . . ) They somehow make a little robot so incredibly sympathetic. I don't know if it's the twitchy little eyes or what, but you just want to hug him!
Either way, it is SO good, and everyone should see it. Repeatedly.

this is at the top of my list... I can't wait!!
(did you bring baby? or get a sitter?)
We didn't bring him. I don't think he would have been well behaved. . . though there were plenty of other kids in the theater, so it probably wouldn't have mattered.
Funny you should mention it--my brother just IM'd me not 5 minutes ago saying the exact same thing. :) Looks like we'll try to get a sitter and go on a date!
Kevin and I saw this on Saturday. We loved it, too! Really good.
How can you not smile to a movie that starts with "Out there, there's a world outside of Yonkers!"
I thought I was going to explode with happiness when I heard those words!! And as for the heavy handedness, I thought it was just heavy enough to be more tongue in cheek and less acusatory. I loved the images of walruses. And that's all I'm saying so I won't give anything away. But i keep giggling at that sight.
We saw this on Friday and I loved it. It was a little heavy with the social commentary, but I think that is why it was enjoyable for the adults too. After the movie my kids were going around saying "Wall-E....Eve-a"
Definitely one to buy.
i have heard nothing but good things about this movie. we were *thinking* about taking the kids to see it this weekend. now i know we WILL take them. thanks for the thumbs up!
