I read this amazing Washington Post column that Jen over at "Up On My Soapbox" posted today and I just HAD to share. Click on it to enlarge so you can read it more easily. Seriously. The woman who answered the question hit the nail right on the head, and I'd like to give her a big fat kiss for responding to the question this way.
I have to admit, there were times in my life that I wondered some of the things this girl is wondering. But now, I'll say it again, I think stay at home moms are saints and should be recognized as such.
That is all.

Amen to those stay-at-home moms, who deal day in and out with the intricacies of little ones, and Amen also to those working moms who have the added fun of dealing with 'babies' at a whole different level during their 'working' time....
Do people really still believe that it is easy to stay home with kids all day? That is funny! I wish I could be there when these people actually have kids and realize how demanding it is!
I didn't get it at all until I had one of my own. I truly didn't. I'm not a SAHM (husband is a SAHD, though), and I use work to relax (and read blogs) because I can't do it when I'm at home with the child.
Thanks for sharing. It's definitely true that until you've been there, you just don't get it.
I love Carolyn Hax, it's the main reason I'm glad we still pay $$ to have the paper delivered every day. She tells it like it is, and she knows all.
