Friday night I made a vain attempt to teach Carter to count sheep to help him sleep, which he didn't really want to do at all.
I told him I'd ask him in the morning how many he counted. . .
Soon after that, grandma took over and told him stories for another hour, thus making the sheep idea just another weird thing Mel told him to do one time. . .
I asked him the next day:
"Carter, how many sheep did you count last night before you fell asleep?"
". . . . . . . . . . sixteen."
Sounds like a good number to me.
That kid cracks me up.
