Deja Vu

For Wednesday movie night last night, Nick & I saw Deja Vu. Everyone kept telling me that it was a good movie, and it's not that i didn't believe them. . . it's just that when Jerry Bruckheimer's name is attached to a movie, I am automatically cynical about how interesting it's going to be. Mostly, stuff blows up in his movies and the acting is nothing to sneeze at. It is an understatement to say I was pleasantly surprised. This is a tight movie. It is an action movie, and plenty of stuff blows up, but it is so much better than that. . .

The only way I can describe my feelings is this: I cared about the characters. I cared what happened next. And I wanted more when the movie ended.

That is all.
