Zack is Back

Does this make anyone else as uncomfortable as it makes me?

I'm sure it's supposed to be funny, but it really just makes me squirm. . .

Is that because I had a crush on him in Jr. High?

Probably

I thought it was funny at the beginning, but it went on a little long.

Plus, Jimmy Fallon always makes me uncomfortable....

Mel! This is hilarious. My mom is totally into the new show - Raising the Bar - and I watched it while in TX. But overall, yeah the JF thing went on too long. I'm still forwarding your post to my sister, though. She went to Texas A&M with Zach. Umm, I mean, whatever his real name is. ;)

That was extremely long. It was so easy to see that it wasn't really him either. Blah. Is he really on that show? I've never seen it. I think I saw an ad for it once but didn't pay attention.

Okay, I guess I'm in the minority here, but I thought it was GENIUS. :) I've seen every SBTB episode like twelve times, though, so I was just astounded at the little references they stuck in here and there...and no, he doesn't look *exactly* the same, but it's been 20 years...he looks darned CLOSE!!!

Apparently it was a collaborative process between Mark-Paul and Jimmy's writers...M-P talked about it and said how exhausting it was to go back into that long-lost character for such a lengthy segment!

This was the best thing I've seen on network TV for... well... maybe since SBTB went off air so many years ago. I love that they could TOTALLY reproduce his character! (complete with teenage no-wrinkles and everything! and where do you find clothes THAT hideous nowadays?)

I can't WAIT for this reunion... and if Fallon is using this as a way to draw in his target audience (those of us now in the age bracket who loved this show), he has hit a home-run!

Oh, it's brilliant, but that's why I find it so unnerving. I can't believe he stayed in character, start to finish. NO WONDER he was exhausted. :)

Also, I'm so sorry, Helen. See if you can find Jimmy Falon/Mark Paul Gosselaar clips anywhere. . .
