Fridays at XanGo

For many months now I have been asked how I like my new job. It's a question that makes a lot of sense, but it's a hard one to answer. I have a lot of good feelings about it, and a lot of things that frustrate me. Mostly, I hate driving to Lehi every day and working in the middle of NOWHERE. It's very difficult to get anything done in an hour on lunch break because civilization is at least 10-15 minutes in every direction. I need my lunch hour if I'm going to get anything accomplished. It's just the way life is for me.

On the other hand, my job is really cushy. XanGo is a new company that still believes very strongly in being nice to it's employees. REALLY nice. We are constantly being fed, given gifts, and generally entertained. This is on a general and more formal level. My team is even more entertaining than the company in general. The following is a video of one of my co-workers taking part in a challenge from our fearless leader Matt. It started out as a $10 thing "Hey Clint, I'll give you 10 bucks if you'll go swim in the big mud puddle" To which Dainon added another 10. And by that afternoon, when Clint followed through, the pot was up over $50. Some would say what he did was worth it. I'm not so sure. See for yourself, and keep in mind that it was only about 40 degrees out.
